October 2007

Chris - Create a trail and picnic/outdoor worship area

The project included clearing and mulching a trail, clearing a 75' by 75' area, building three picnic tables, and building a 4' by 4' brick fireplace area.  For access and safety, Chris added a small foot-bridge over a drainage ditch.  He chose to lead this project at his church becaue he wanted to provide a different setting for his youth group and Sunday School classes to gather and worship.  He also wanted to give back to the church that has supported his youth group and given him a great opportunity to be a part of a great church family and to be a Scout.
